You can find materials by searching in the MC Library Catalog, or you can browse for a topic in the Library shelves.

Books are arranged by Call Numbers that describe the topic. A few Call Number areas are listed here to help you get started.

Videos & DVDs will be arranged under the same Call Number areas, but will be located in a different part of the library than the books. Ask at the information desk for help.

E-books through Montgomery College:

• Search the MC Library Catalog. To find electronic books, select the option on the drop-down Limit Your Results list.

Free online texts:

Please note, online books found in these sources are almost always older books no longer protected by copyright. It is extremely unlikely you will find a recently published book online for free.

Literary criticism may be shelved near the author's work, or may be part of a collection of critical essays.

It is usually easiest to find criticism by searching the MC Library Catalog or using databases.
