Search Tips: Books
When searching for books in the catalog, one way to do it is to select "Keyword (AND)" and to use these components:
- keywords, the nouns that describe your topic
- Boolean operators, (AND, OR)
- quotation marks for phrases
- Advanced Search tab for more options
Here are some examples:
physics AND (music OR sound)
nanotechnology AND environment
"particle physics" AND neutrinos
quarks AND physics

E-books & Authentication
The MC Libraries collection includes e-books. Like the print books, they can be discovered by searching the MC Library Catalog.
At the Remote Database User Authentication page, use your M#, located on your Montgomery College I.D. card as a login. Enter the entire number, including the M.
