2024 Elections: How to Vote

Voting Trends

Early voting can help voters avoid long lines and missing work to cast their ballot. Voting by mail allows voters to take as much time as they need completing their ballot and makes voting more accessible for those with health concerns or otherwise marginalized groups.

Any Maryland voter can vote early or by mail. Visit the early and mail-in voting links in 2024 Election Dates and Deadlines box on this page to learn more.
